I ordered three truckles of cheese for Christmas. When they arrived, one was a small triangular piece of 'Red Crunch' wrapped in clear plastic and weighing only 160g. The truckles were 220g. I was disappointed with this piece of 'Red Crunch' which not as described or what i had ordered. I could not give this as a present either. I used the company website to send three messages but haven't received a reply to any. I can see from previous reviews that the company is reviewed highly, in fact, even from Chris Sandham who is obviously a family member and seems to have rated businesses according to his own experiences. Well, in relation to my rating, this relates to my own experience and the really poor service I have received here. Sandhams will not be getting any more of my business based upon this. I do have to say that the cheese is lovely and that's true for all three that I ordered including Creamy Lancashire, Tasty Lancashire and Red Crunch. However, I cannot rate 5 stars for nice cheese, when my order was, in my opinion, short and also, when I allowed the company enough time to deal with my dissatisfaction but they have not replied. If your cheesemakers have been ongoing for generations, then you need to ensure that your customer service by, presumably, the younger generations, is absolutely spot on too. I rate your cheese highly, but feel cheated by the order I received and the service received afterwards, which was none existent.
